Born and raised in Minneapolis, my love for snow was fostered by the small hills and brutally cold winters of Minnesota. Skiing was, and still is, a family sport. What started as me just trying to keep up with my brother Justin grew into a shared passion and an indestructible sibling connection. Bonding over nerding out on equipment or simply sharing a run together, I still credit Justin for paving my way into ski racing.
Background
I learned to ski at two years old, started racing at ten and most of my fondest and most dreaded memories take place in ski boots.
Without a doubt ski racing shaped me into the person I am today - passionate, competitive, hard working and driven. It brought me to corners of the world I never would have seen and taught me life lessons that still impact my life today. Skiing is part of my identity.
